Opening Dec. 16, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles will feature an exhibit of kids race cars from the last 100 years, from a 1908 Brownie Car to a 2017 NHRA Junior Dragster. The exhibition is called, "Sidewalk Speedsters: The Grown-up World of Children’s Cars." If only we could fit inside them! This is a 1955 Kurtis Kraft Quarter Midget.

Among the kid's cars at the Petersen exhibit is this kid's Cobra, pretty lifelike in its scale and proportion. Whoever drove this down the sidewalk back in the day was the envy of the neighborhood.
