7 Luxury Pickups That Add Comfort and Class to Your Work Week

Kicking this list off is the aforementioned Toyota. Toyota’s newest Tundra made its way to the public late last year but lacked a true top-trim model. Fast-forward to now and Toyota is not only rolling out a premium trim, it has a new name for its most luxe model: the Capstone. The Tundra Capstone stays true to the luxury pickup formula, offering everything you’d expect: a solid interior and some extra flash.

The Capstone trim option adds some appealing features to the Tundra. To help isolate the road from the cabin, Toyota uses hydraulic cab mounts. These hydraulic mounts also work with the available self-leveling air suspension to give you an isolated and comfortable ride, without having to worry about your payload affecting your ride quality.

Ford’s King Ranch might not be as luxe as its top-trimmed Limited models, but the King Ranch adds a lot of upmarket comfort without obliterating the bank. The King Ranch models of Ford’s F-Series pickups take the run-of-the-mill truck and stuff it full of branded leather upholstery with a decidedly rancher theme.

Unlike the Tundra, the King Ranch doesn’t boast a slick air suspension, instead relying on steel springs to manage the load weight and the roadways for the F-150. That said, what the King Ranch offers that the Tundra doesn’t is in the heavy-duty space. Ford makes its higher-trim truck available on the F-250 and F-350 Super Duty platforms (pictured) if you don’t think the F-150 can handle your daily needs.

The GMC Sierra is a workhorse pickup that you can add a giant dose of class by checking the box next to the Denali option package. And if a Sierra Denali isn’t cushy enough, the team at GMC has something else: the GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate. While the bones of GMC’s latest truck are the same as other Sierra pickups, the Denali Ultimate gives you a more luxurious cabin, unique exterior styling, and optional tech like GM’s SuperCruise.

This special Sierra has other features like its CarbonPro carbon-fiber box to help set it apart from the pack. In the context of this list, the GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate is the most luxe-forward pickup you’ll find wearing a GMC badge.

If you don’t want that flashy GMC badge and grille in the front of your rig, you can always opt for the more formal bowtie. The Chevrolet Silverado High Country isn’t quite as posh as the Sierra Denali Ultimate, but it isn’t exactly a bargain-basement work truck. The High Country trim sits atop the Silverado hierarchy and gives Chevy customers an extra comfortable work machine.

The High Country package is similar to the Denali before it: The cabin is now filled with leather and open-pore wood. There are other upgrades, too, like the Bose audio system and available SuperCruise that help this truck feel more like a Cadillac than a Chevy.

The latest-generation Ram trucks is the best Ram has ever put to market. The whole lineup of Ram’s trucks pushed the brand to the front of the line when they debuted in 2019. And topping Ram’s 1500 lineup is its Limited model that doesn’t pull any luxury punches. The interior is stuffed with leather and other high-quality materials, and it’s full of tech features.

Like the Tundra Capstone, Ram’s 1500 Limited comes with a four-corner, self-leveling air suspension. The Ram 1500 Limited also sees a massive touchscreen in the center of the dash to control the infotainment system.

Toyota isn’t the only Japanese automaker playing in the full-size truck pool. The Nissan Titan has given truck buyers another option since its debut in 2004, with its most recent generation debuting in 2016. Heavily refreshed for the 2020 model year, the Titan takes care of all of your truck needs, with its Platinum Reserve trim line giving luxe-focused customers a compelling option.

As you’d expect, the Platinum Reserve-badged Nissan Titan is full of leather and expensive materials. The Platinum Reserve also comes with 20-inch wheels, a satin chrome grille, and heated and cooled front seats.
