Toyota continues a slow rollout of electric vehicles with the introduction of the bZ Compact SUV Concept. The vehicle looks more like a production car than a concept, with side-impact structures in the door sills, full-size outside mirrors, and a modern, manufacturable body, unlike some wacky concept cars. There were no details released about the concept's all-electric powertrain, but the slightly larger bZ4X crossover has a 71.4-kWh battery good for a range of up to 252 miles. If produced, the production version of the bZ Compact SUV would likely be positioned below the existing bZ4X and be called the bZ3X.
